MY BIRTHDAY MESSAGE

Whatsoever is in the heaven and earth glorifies Allah, he is the All-mighty, All-wise, He is the king of heavens and the earth.

It is he who gives life and causes death: and he is able to do all things, he is the first ( nothing is before him) and the last (nothing is after him), the most higher (nothing is above Him) and the nearest (nothing is nearer than him). And he is the All-knower of everything.

He it is Who created the heaven and the earth in six days and then rose over the throne in a manner that suits his majesty.
He knows what goes into the earth and what comes forth from it, and what descends from the heaven and what ascends from it, and he is with me, whatsoever I may be (Alihamdulilah) and Allah is all seer of what you and I do.

Quran Suratul al-Hadid

Alhamdulillah, I am another year plus today again, physically fit, mentally stable, emotionally balanced, socially connected with people that influence me positively, all praise to the most merciful.

My mind was going through what was known by writers as BLOCK before, I didn’t know the angle to address in this write-up, but something sparks my brain and just like grenade bang it redirected me to take a deep look at those that we are of the same age, that I know of, though I can’t possibly know everyone, I arrived at a worrisome and disturbing conclusion.

Now I am among the ‘CONFUSIONIST' age. The age where the pressure to succeed is high, the age in which everyone around me is expecting me to take responsibility, the age where so many where confused about the choice we want to make because this age many think they have reckoned deeply and are sure of what they want to do, but the reality is that only a few make the good if not better choices.

You might be curious to know the age I am talking about, don’t worry, I will tell you, it’s the age JACK MA the owner of the world's largest online store who failed in literally everything he did when he was at that age. The age he said is for making mistakes because we are confused and we have to learn from it fast.

The age I am talking about is 25-30 years, it’s our selfish years, it’s a decade to immerse ourselves in every single thing possible. We are selfish with time, emotions, and passion for useless things.
Many at this age are struggling, playing catch up with the voice from the crowd rather than their own voice and strength. Many are astray because of the attitude of negligence and irresponsibility, many are unstable because life is not crystal clear to them, it has tax and bills higher than their wages and salaries in it.

This age we have many options if we are ready to learn from the mistakes we are making now and am happy my mistakes at this age have brought me to fully discover myself and my true potential. The questions I am asking my fellow age mate who is reading this is that: are you learning from your mistakes? Have you discovered your purpose and potential?

If you pass this age without knowing your answer to this, you are not planning your life at all.

Thank you for reading.

SOMETHING FROM MY DREAM BY FATAI ISMAIL OMOBOLAJI

If I am to tell you about it
What would I say?
How would I even start?

long time ago men used to sleep in peace
And snore till the sounds of cock
Men don’t worry about the future
It’s the future who worried about them
I'm talking about men of dark ages
When the mind was black as black
And what they know is love, peace, and survival through the days
These men don’t chase dreams
They chase work with hard labor
They work with heart, soul, and strength
They hunt and enjoy what their stick-like knife brought them
They defended themselves not with guns, bombs, and grenades
They eat shrubs and onions and garlic from the earth
They drink the river water and bathe in it
Their women flock the street with profound beauty
As their breast danced in front of them
This men and women don’t chase dreams

1000years later, there is science, philosophy,
Laws, principles, and theories
Men started seeing each other differently
They divided themselves in black and white
In nations and boundaries
These men saw dreams
And ambition comes with it
I have dreams too
Something from my dream is tranquility
Something the eyes of Mohandas Gandhi saw
As he leads India to independence
Something in the heart of Martin Luther King Jr.
When his voice echoed throughout the state of Washington
Even the heaven and the earth heard the man with a dream
As he delivered his powerful speech
Something Nelson Mandela fought for in South Africa
Something Malala Yousafzai stood for in middle east
As she campaign throughout Pakistan

Something from my dreams is hope
Hope in equality
Hope in humanity
Hope in peace and unity
Hope in love and justice
Hope in what we could achieve together

WE ARE THE FUTURE YOU SEEK BY (FATAI ISMAIL OMOBOLAJI)

We are the future not the unfortunate herbs
We are the back that look the back of your back
We are the wish you seek at the nooks of your dwellings kneeling, crying and beseeching
We are the one that cause you miserable pain before we could live

We are the one that lessen your sleep to snooze and end your dreams in the middle of the night
You cherish, feed, punish, pardon us yet we did not know because we are the future not the one who remain in the past
When growing up you care, labor because of us and pray for us
Just for us to be alive
we are the future not the one who remain in the past

we kept secret from you and separate from your life as we grew up because we are the future not the one who remain in the past
And we also seek the future of our end who do not remain in the past

I AM WHO, I AM BY FATAI ISMAIL OMOBOLAJI

I am who, I am

A boy created from a clot of blood
Bath with dark hot oak tree water
Raised under nature where air it breathes is a competition
Taught with brute force to understand it’s  environment
Survive or be forgotten about, is the song my society listen to
I am who, I am

Am a boy with the senses of man
I am my mother smile and my father figure
I am my brother shadow and my sister fondness
I am my friend happiness

I am who, I am

You asked me again who I am
I am the star if I am not the sun
I am the elephant if I am not the lion
I am the bush if I am not the tree
I am the track if I am not the train
If I am not the highway then I am the trail

I am who, I am

DIFFICULT TIME WE SHOULD ALL APPRECIATE THE MEDICAL COMMUNITY ALL OVER THE WORLD.

17years after the first similar case of Coronavirus outbreak Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) in 2002-03, are we being punished again for letting our guard down or is the world more prepared to deal with a potential global pandemic?

In 2002 the severity of the pandemic coronavirus SARS was withheld from the public for 4month before the government officially declared it a pandemic and announced to the world to get prepared for the serious outbreak, not less than billions of people all over the world put the blame on it various government for taking so much long time, but today it took the world health body 1 month to officially declare the stringency of COVID19 after its first case in December 2019 and by January 2020 Scientist, Medical experts and Health Care workers have identified the virus name groups, symptoms and possible ways to contain it.

I am not going to budge you with similarity or differences between the SARS and COVID19 pandemic rather than urging you to take a look at the realm of countries around us and appreciate how effortlessly, tirelessly and uncomfortably the medical community are laboring to contain the severe pandemic around the world.

Beginning from the root country, China adhering to the starkest of containment measures in the city of 11 million people, To slow down the intensity of the epidemic and accumulation in cases, the Chinese government took tough steps on January 23rd and practically put the area into lockdown.

Mass gatherings and events were canceled, schools were shut, traffic was restricted and social distancing became the new measure and in February South-East Asia, Europe, North-South America, and Africa have also reported cases of the virus and immediately they followed the Chinese government drastic measures.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the infection rate among medical staff is in part the result of the delayed response to the outbreak. Now, in Wuhan and the surrounding areas, medical workers face shortages of protective suits and masks, an "overwhelming number of patients," and understaffed hospitals, leaving them "unprotected, overworked, and increasingly vulnerable," the LA Times report.

At times doctors in the hospital in the containment facilities around the world showed symptoms of the virus but continued to treat patients—even while wearing insufficient protective gear, The infections, along with the deaths of several doctors China, Japan, Korea tod Italy underscore the deeply challenging, chaotic environment that health care workers confront when toiling on the front lines of a major outbreak. They face long hours and risks to their own personal health and that of their loved ones, Those fears are compounded when health care workers are working around the clock to combat a virus that isn’t well-understood. it takes even more than courage and bravery to be out in the frontline.

The Government, the World Health Organization and the health care community around the globe are trying as much as possible to make sure the pandemic outbreak is contained, the best we can do is to strictly adhere to the advice and instructions being issued out. It took the world 9-10 month to get cleared of SARS, how much will COVID19 take will depend on how patiently we follow instructions in order not to put more people and also health workers community at risk.

China, the Republic of Korea, Japan, Italy, Spain Germany, France, Switzerland, Iran and many other countries where the virus cases have wide penetration have lost enormous numbers of their medical professionals and volunteers. It time we start acclaiming our Rescuer in order for them to draw strength to keep up the good work.
